GAZING INTO THE FUTURE, MYSTERy LAND AMPED UP THEir festival EXPERIENCE BY BOLDLY INVESTING IN THE GRANDEUR OF their mainstage. BUILDING ON A DEEP-ROOTED MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING AND COMMITMENT TO THE BRAND, 360 SHOW DESIGN WAS PROUDLY INVOLVED IN MAKING THE MYSTERY UNFOLD, and co-created both end shows.
“WITH A FREE SPIRIT AND OPEN MIND, WE DANCE TO CELEBRATE.”

Digging further into the concept, a radiant and high-quality stage design is hugely important for a festival mainstage – but also for an endshow to hit home in all its glory. It’s the very canvas on which we can paint a story by using our combined disciplines as show creators and operators.
For this edition, Mysteryland visually stepped up its game with a marvelous and equally intricate manifestation of a stage, which speaks from all the colorful images that were captured. A shared experience where all become one for an isolated moment in time. On this evening, we created art together with our team and esteemed colleagues at Mysteryland and ID&T. Magic, if you will.

A key role in this 10-minute journey was assigned to the intro track: Robert Miles’ ‘Children’.
Bart Straver - Show Director: “From where I stand, ‘Children’ is never outdated – it’s dance and classical music at once. My dad knows the track, I love it and so does my 20-year-old brother. It binds us all. It was an idea that I felt deeply, and I knew instantly that it would work for the mysteryland crowd too."
"It was all about stirring a sense of familiarity, yet delivering it within a new frame – fit for new memories. Bart & Jelle from 3AM Audio created a custom-made, orchestral version of the track. And, as I envisioned, it struck straight in the heart of the crowd. It was a musical beacon and the seed from which the rest of the show grew into being.”

As you can see represented in various cases on this page, we also provide stage design for some of our projects. For Mysteryland, this vital piece was already in place. However, thanks to the long-standing relationship of trust and respect that Bart and 360 Show Design have created with Mysteryland, an early entry into the creative process was possible – and turned out fruitful. It was our task to craft the endshow in such a fashion that it would complement, or even elevate, the stage. It’s the kind of synergy that we continuously aim for, and a stage design like this enables us to deliver our best work. Big ups to jake kooi and Claudia Vossenberg for this one.
We take pride in fostering a close bond with our clients, which is ultimately reflected in the end result – with Mysteryland 2019 being a perfect example.

Thank you!
